Hillberg & Berk’s Fall / Winter ’09 Collection is inspired by the beauty and splendor of the universe while honoring the fragility of our earth. Sterling Silver matt, shiny and intricately designed balls are intermixed to create beautiful and interesting pieces. Onyx, Labradorite and Obsidian mimic the deep black and endless universe. Turquoise remind us that at the centre of the universe is our fragile Earth.
Our Collection includes a “Save the Earth” design. $10 from the sale of every necklace will go to help clean the Great Pacific Garbage patch.

H&B has been making a big splash in Canada since the Collection launched in 2007. Designer Rachel Mielke was the only Canadian jewellery designer invited to attend the 2008 Pre-Oscar gifting lounge and other elite entertainment events such as the Gemini’s and CCMA’s. Mielke also recently catapulted her companies potential reach when she successfully gained a business titan as a partner on CBC’s reality TV show Dragons’ Den in October ‘08.
The Beverley Mahood
Capsule Collection
For select release in A/W ’09 the Beverley Mahood Capsule Collection is a collaboration between Hillberg & Berk designer Rachel Mielke and country music singer Beverley Mahood. Mahood and Mielke met in 2008 and have been planning to release this collaborative collection since then. Hillberg & Berk is thrilled to be collaborating with Mahood to create this unique and beautiful collection that reflects her Irish roots and free spirit. This Collection contains light and airy necklaces which are meant to be worn layered as well as bold bracelets and fun earrings. Irish influences were used to create H&B’s beautiful new clover finding that was used in these designs.
