Welcome to a community of women who embrace their unique spirit, uplift others and live with passion and positivity

Meet Rachel

Why did you start Hillberg & Berk?

I started Hillberg & Berk for three reasons: the dream of being an entrepreneur, a desire to give back to my community, and a love for hand-crafting jewellery. When I realized that I could combine my passion for jewellery making with business, Hillberg & Berk was born.

How would you describe the Hillberg & Berk culture?

The Hillberg & Berk culture is focused on empowerment. I want to empower our people to guide their own career path, make the best decisions possible, and share their unique sparkle with everyone they come in contact with--whether they are a customer, colleague or stranger. I've always believed in hiring great people, knowing that they will grow into the right positions. This philosophy has fostered an amazing team who have lots of fun, support each other, and are fiercely focused on the H&B manifesto: "Through education, inspiration and opportunity, we are women empowering women- One sparkle at a time"

Why is women's empowerment important to you?
I believe it is important for Hillberg & Berk to be more than a jewellery company. We are a community of women creating jewellery that will be worn by other women. It only makes sense to give back to organizations and causes that contribute to the empowerment of our fellow women locally, nationally and all across the world. Our culture is one of mutual respect and support, so naturally I want to extend that to our community. Whether it is through education, health care, financial aid, community programs, or just helping someone feel extra sparkly when they need it, I believe empowering women can change the world.
