Reporting to the CMO, the Marketing/Customer Care Manager is responsible for managing the Marketing as well as the Customer Care Department for Hillberg & Berk.


  • Create personal expertise in the Hillberg & Berk brand and ensure that this brand is reflected in all customer related practices
  • Create personal expertise in Hillberg & Berk product knowledge by keeping current on all new collections, as well as core product lines
  • Uphold the Hillberg & Berk culture, brand and corporate identity through marketing and create an environment that is committed to these as well as to exceeding client's expectations with the highest level of client service and quality at all times
  • Develop the Hillberg & Berk marketing strategy while keeping in line with short and long term company objectives
  • Manage the Hillberg & Berk marketing budget and budgeting processes
  • Manage and mentor the Hillberg & Berk customer care staff as well as oversee all functions of the customer care department
  • Manage and mentor the Hillberg & Berk marketing staff as well as oversee all functions of the marketing department
  • Identify new markets and facilitate the expansion of the Hillberg & Berk brand into those markets while also managing and improving customer/market lead generation campaigns and measuring the results of both
  • Plan and implement marketing campaigns and advertising media while cooperating with Sales staff ensuring these and sales initiatives are in line
  • Continually strive to improve customer service and marketing at Hillberg & Berk
  • Present potential customer service initiatives to Executives and execute those initiatives that are approved
  • Monitor and report to executives on marketing and customer care initiatives
  • Oversee community partnership programs
  • Facilitate strong relationships with and work closely with partnering agencies
  • Analyze potential strategic relationships for Hillberg & Berk
  • Represent Hillberg & Berk at special events, networking opportunities, private sales and collection launches
  • Participate in staff meetings, training and planning sessions
  • All other duties as assigned

  • A degree in marketing with 3-5 years of experience in a marketing management role
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service management role
